Fresh parsley is often used as a garnish, but the leaves actually have many culinary uses, especially in soups and tomato sauces. Vitamin and mineral rich parsley leaves are an excellent addition to any salad or tea blend. Parsley tea, with it's diuretic properties, has been very effective in reducing water weight from the body and relieving minor swelling due to water retention.
