Myrrh Resin Incense

Myrrh resin incense offers a deep, earthy aroma with warm, slightly bitter notes and a rich, resinous sweetness. Valued since ancient times, myrrh has been used across cultures for incense, ritual, and reflection. When burned, it creates a grounding, contemplative atmosphere that feels both calming and timeless.

Uses:
Ideal for meditation, prayer, energy clearing, and creating a peaceful, centered space. Myrrh resin can be burned on its own or blended with other resins, herbs, or woods to create custom incense experiences.

How to Use:
Place a charcoal disc in a heat-safe incense burner or bowl filled with sand or ash. Light the charcoal and allow it to heat until it begins to glow. Once hot, sprinkle a small amount of myrrh resin on top of the charcoal. The resin will gently melt and release fragrant smoke. Use sparingly, as a little goes a long way.

For a lighter aroma, myrrh can also be gently warmed on an electric resin burner.

Myrrh Gum is the sap-like resin produced by a thorny shrub in the Commiphora genus, which includes frankincense. When the bark of the tree is cut, the resin escapes in 'tears", or small beads which harden quickly and become glossy and amber colored with age.  

Dried Myrrh gum is highly fragrant and is used alone or in blends with other materials to create quality incense.
