Motherwort is most commonly used for menopausal discomforts and other female reproductive disorders such as delayed menstruation, prolapsed uterus, and premenstrual anxiety. It is also used for nervous heart problems and for stomach gas and cramps.

Not to be used during pregnancy.

Antispasmodic, cardiac tonic, diuretic, emmenagogue, nervine.
