Lycii berries nourish the Liver and benefit the essence. They are commonly combined with chrysanthemum flower for blurred vision and poor night vision. They can also be used for Yin deficiency of the Lungs when there is consumptive cough. Lycii berries should not be used by those with patterns of heat and excess or when there is Spleen deficiency with dampness or loose stools.
