Hyssop promotes expectoration and resolves phlegm and relieves coughing and may help relieve fevers by promoting sweating. Hyssop in recent studies has been found to relieve inflammation in mucus membranes including bronchial passages.

Not to be used during pregnancy.

Diaphoretic, diuretic, emmenagogue, stimulant
