How Ear Candling is Performed:
Positioning: The person lies on their side with the treated ear facing upward.
Protection: A paper plate, foil shield, or cloth is often placed around the ear to catch falling ash or wax.
Insertion: The tapered end of a hollow, wax-soaked cloth candle is gently placed into the outer ear canal.
Burning: The opposite end of the candle is lit and allowed to burn for about 10 to 15 minutes before being extinguished.
