Commonly called Colorado Cough Root or Bear Root. Osha grows in the Rocky Mountain region. Osha is a perennial herb in the carrot and parsley family (Apiaceae/Umbelliferae). Historically Osha has been used for colds, flu, virus infections, bronchitis, spider bites and sore throats.
