Goldenseal root is a strong anti-microbial which may help fight off colds and flus. The ground root reduces infection and inflammation and stimulates immunity. Can be used as a snuff to heal mucus membranes in the nasal cavity.

Not to be used during pregnancy. Prolonged use can damage or reduce the flora in the intestines.

Anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, antiseptic, astringent.
